Signature Fabric™ is 100% modal, a fibre naturally derived from wood pulp.

We chose it because nothing else moves like this. The fibre surface is smoother than cotton and finer than jersey, with more give than any blend, so it sits comfortably against the scalp and moves with you through the day. It absorbs significantly more moisture than cotton, drawing it away from the skin instead of holding it there. The same property keeps it cool in warmth and warm in cold.

We chose it for what it isn't, too. Most slip-on hijabs are made from polyester or polyester blends. Polyester is a plastic fibre. It doesn't absorb moisture. It traps it. It builds heat against the scalp, holds static against the hair, and breaks down into microplastics with every wash. It's the cheapest fibre to produce, which is why the category defaults to it.

Signature Fabric™ sits on the other side of that decision. It costs more to source, and it asks more of the woman who chooses it. That's the trade we built the brand around.
