How to find your size

Most women wear size M in the Premium. The fabric has a tighter, more structured fit — so if you find slip-on hijabs usually run snug on you, size up.

If you'd rather measure, wrap a soft measuring tape, a piece of string, or a phone charging cable around your hairline — front, behind the ears, back of the head, returning to where you started. That's your head circumference. Choose the size whose head opening is 2–4 cm smaller than your measurement. If you wear an underscarf or volumiser, measure with it on.

On Premium Fabric™

Premium Fabric™ is 96% modal and 4% elastane, built on the same wood pulp fibre as Signature Fabric™ with a small amount of stretch woven through.

The elastane is what gives it memory. The fabric holds its shape against the scalp through the day and returns to it after every wash, without thinning, pilling, or losing its finish. The surface is smoother than Signature, with a subtle sheen that catches the light differently depending on how it falls.

It carries the same properties as the modal beneath it. Smoother than cotton, finer than jersey, moves over the hair without friction. Absorbs significantly more moisture than cotton, drawing it away from the skin instead of holding it there. Cool in warmth, warm in cold.

We chose it for what it isn't, too. Most slip-on hijabs are made from polyester or polyester blends. Polyester is a plastic fibre. It doesn't absorb moisture. It traps it. It builds heat against the scalp, holds static against the hair, and breaks down into microplastics with every wash. It's the cheapest fibre to produce, which is why the category defaults to it.

Premium Fabric™ sits on the other side of that decision. It costs more to source, and it asks more of the woman who chooses it. That's the trade we built the brand around.

Crafted in our signature 100% organic stretch modal: a custom blend developed exclusively for Destaniya. The fabric carries a soft natural sheen and a smooth, refined finish that resists pilling over time, preserving its elevated appearance wash after wash. Lightweight and breathable against the scalp, it drapes with ease while maintaining its structure throughout the day. Carefully curated to remain gentle on skin, hair, and hormonal health.

Machine wash at 30°C with similar colors. Do not tumble dry. Iron at low temperature if needed.
